Musicdle is a browser-based music artist guessing game. You can play without creating an account, submitting a name, or providing an email address.

Information stored in your browser

To keep the game working between visits, Musicdle uses local storage on your device. This may include your current Daily or Unlimited game, daily and Unlimited statistics, streaks, guess distribution, and your sound preference. This information stays in your browser unless you choose to clear it.

How to control or delete local data

You can remove Musicdle data at any time through your browser settings by clearing this site's storage or site data. Clearing it resets saved games, statistics, streaks, and preferences on that device.

Third-party services

When artist artwork is available, Musicdle may request an image from Apple's iTunes Search service. When artwork is unavailable, it may use DiceBear to generate an initials-based placeholder. Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser request details under their own privacy policies. Musicdle does not ask them to identify you.

Hosting, analytics, and advertising

Musicdle is hosted through Cloudflare. Our hosting provider may process standard technical request data needed to deliver and secure the site. Musicdle uses Google Analytics to understand aggregated site use, such as page visits and device or browser information. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies under Google's privacy terms. Analytics are not required to play the game. If advertising services are introduced, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Children's privacy

Musicdle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the site or its data practices change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
